E-Learning an Overview

Blended learning solutions using E-Learning:

Abstract :

E-Learning has been driving the research in modern learning methodologies. The learning institutions have been facing varied problems which were till now considered unsolvable. At the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune we decided to resolve the problem of differential knowledge parity among the fresh students joining the first year of their MBA programme. We used a blended learning strategy by combining the strength of conventional class room training and the modern technology based learning. This paper highlights the process adopted by us to design both the Synchronous as well as the Asynchronous component of the learning programme. It also mentions the various lessons learnt in this process. The paper demonstrates the actual software screens that were used and the philosophy behind its use. The paper concludes highlighting the importance of E-Learning in any modern blended learning solution.
