Alco Diesel Engine Trainer (Only ALCO Family-WDM2)

 

The Purpose of the Trainer is to understand the fundamental concepts of internal Combustion (ALCO Diesel Engine (WDM2)) Engine also the trainee will be able to test a loco on a load box set up with indication of parameters as per format in the CAMTEC Instruction Bulletin MP.IB.EN-01.02.01 in a simulated environment.This will help the trainee to understand the AAR classification, diagnose Loco engine fault and suggest remedial action. Simulations under Load conditions will be used by the student for fault diagnosis. Engine Cranking Simulation will be supported by appropriate readings on the Indication Panel.
