Full Scale Simulator (ALCO/EMD-GM Families)

Full size loco with scale models of all major loco components placed at its actual/original location. Each component will display a simulated behavior. Faults can be introduced by the Instructor Symptoms are recreated on the physical model using simulation techniques. The cab will have transparent top for complete view of roof components. Troubleshooting and diagnosis is done using circuit simulation tools. Optionally remedial actions/repairs/replacement of parts can be done in a real time 3D environment. Complete loco operations using panels in the CAB, microprocessor/valves/circuit breakers at various locations in the loco can be conducted. Video based track will be used to run the loco in a selected section of the track.
