Loco Lubrication Oil System, Loco Fuel Oil System, Locomotive Cooling System Fault Simulator (ALCO/EMD-GM Families)
The purpose of the trainers is to understand the various systems, of components of Lubrication, Fuel oil, cooling in railway locomotives by learning through e-Learning as well as fault simulation software. System will have a color mimic with all components placed on it, along with the simulation software wherein all possible faults can be generated. The fault trainer has a teacher panel that can be kept out of student control. The teacher can create faults using this panel. The student panel has an array of buttons necessary to monitor various system parameters respectively.The student then has to follow laid down fault finding procedures and locate the fault. Optionally remedial actions/repairs/replacement of parts can be done in a real time 3D environment demonstrated on a large touch screen panel.
