The Purpose of the Trainer is to understand the fundamental concepts in Electricity, Electronics, Microprocessors and other related fields, the need of control systems in Diesel Locos, the maintenance and testing procedures of Loco control system, various electrical circuits in Diesel Loco. System will have a color mimic with all components placed on it, along with the simulation software wherein all possible faults can be generated.The fault diagnosis can be done by the laid down procedure. Optionally remedial actions/repairs/replacement of parts can be done in a real time 3D environment demonstrated on a large touch screen panel. The complex circuit can be understood by using the circuit simulation technique. The interactive circuit simulation is a multimedia simulation tool designed for troubleshooting and diagnosis.
