Description

An invaluable aid in the effective understanding and trouble shooting of the faults associated with Railway Coach Air Braking System.  The fault trainer has a teacher panel that can be kept out of student control.  The teacher can create faults using this panel.  The student panel has an array of buttons necessary to monitor various system parameters respectively.  The student then has to follow laid down fault finding procedures and locate the fault.

The Fault Simulation Trainer should be capable of showing the faults in following generic fault area:

i)               Brake Binding due to leakage

ii)             Brake Binding due to problems in DV

iii)            Brake Binding due to wrong operation

iv)           Brake Binding due to problems in Brake Rigging

v)            Low Braking Power due to wrong operation

vi)           Low Braking Power due to leakages

vii)         Low Braking Power due to DV defects

viii)        Problems during train dispatch – BP not charged to 5 Kg/cm²

ix)            Problems during train dispatch – FP not charged to 6 Kg/cm²
