C.C. Engineers is proud to introduce the first - ever Trouble Shooting and Maintenance Simulators (TSMS), DMRC will install state-of-the art TSMS system for the Bombardier (BT) RS2 trains. These simulator will be used to train maintenance staff. The BT metro train is one of the most technically advanced trains which is controlled through a supervisory control system consisting of central and sub system level controllers. TSMS Trainers can be built for all the train subsystems including one for the central train control and management system. A comprehensive instructional architecture ensures effective knowledge and skill transfer to the trainee. |

e- LEARNING / CBT
These provide detailed theoretical knowledge to the trainees prior to simulation operations. |

NORMAL OPERATION

The trainees are then exposed to each subsystem where he can operate the sub-system (such as Traction, Auxiliary, HVAC, Brakes etc.) using the Driver Desk. All functions of a typical sub-system can be operated in a high fidelity environment. The track view provided for most Simulators allows the trainee to operate and run the train using the Driver Desk. The entire sub-system is mathematically modelled and effects of trainee actions are reflected in real time on the simulator. |
FAULT OPERATION
![]() |
Once the trainee has familiarized himsel with the constructional and operational details of any sub-system, he is ready for learning fault diagnosis. Faults are simulated first in a logical sequence to understand the cause / effect relationships. Progressively complex faults are randomly generated to cover all the recognized faults / events. The Simulator also trains in the use of diagnostic and test software.

|
3D REMEDIAL ACTION Remedial Actions for faults are conducted in a 3D virtual environment. Parts can be replaced on a large touch panel. The software ensures that the trainee follows every step recommended and lays special emphasis on safety.
|
|
CIRCUIT SIMULATION In circuit simulation exercises, the trainee can create faults in any component / cable in the circuit and observe the effects of his action on the sub-system. Since all electrical, mechanical, control and supervisory components of the train are modeled and interconnected, an advanced trainee can do a “what-if” analysis by making defective any system component, there by giving him a total perspective of the train. |
